I have trained thousands of people all over the world, from athletes to stay-at-home Moms. They all understand the benefits of a structured and solid midsection. And I do not mean simply the aesthetic qualities from an outward appearance.

Too many times though I've worked with clients who come to me, first and foremost, with niggling back pain, and injuries, and then a desire to do something about it.

What many people do not consider and allow to be a pivotal point of their 'make-over' is a sensible yet highly specific midsection workout plan. Because when we train our abdominals and our midsection correctly, the resulting alleviation of many, many back complaints is almost a given.

Think of your midsection as having three sides. Front (Abs) Side (obliques) and rear (Back)

Now many people who have desk jobs, or drive a lot, or carry a lot or have to look after the kids all day or....you know what I mean - many people - over time - can inadvertently create a weaker back.

So instead of going out and doing what a Doctor may have told you and attempt to strengthen your abdominals with 99% of your effort placed on the front area, treat your workouts with a structured 3 side approach that will strengthen the whole 'trunk' just as nature intended.

Work your front abs (upper & lower sections) - You’re oblique’s (side 'twisting' muscles) and also you’re lower back (lower spinal section) inside a thorough full body workout and along with a sensible diet, plenty of rest and a clear mind..

Your back pain will be a thing of the past. Don't think it will come overnight, it won't but you will be getting your body into a pattern of 'core' exercising that will benefit you greatly in the coming weeks and months and long into old age.
